Multi-Room Audio Guide

What is Multi-Room Audio?

Multi-room (or multi-zone) audio can be defined as an audio system in either a single room, or multiple rooms that enables the playback of audio to a home, building or outdoor setting.

Your music, the way you like it.

Multi-room audio systems allow you to play music to all rooms, or a selection of rooms in perfect harmony, while someone else can play different music to another room, or selection of rooms.

Native Streaming

Native streaming allows you to stream and control audio from your favourite app, such as Spotify, Amazon Music, YouTube, Apple Music, and many more.

Local audio playback

You can play music that is stored on your mobile device, on a USB, or on a music server, by Wi-Fi streaming, Bluetooth, or a physical wired connection.

Enhance audio from your TV

Multi-room audio amplifiers can be connected to most modern televisions to enhance TV sound. Connect an active subwoofer to create a cost effective 2.1 home cinema system.

Discreet and powerful

Multi-room audio amplifiers are small enough to be tucked away out of sight, or installed into a server rack, but with powerful Class D amplification, the sound quality will not disappoint you. Ideally paired with in-ceiling or in-wall speakers, your system will be heard, not seen.

Versatile

There are numerous methods of installing and connecting a multi-room audio system. For example, a multi-room audio amplifier can be used as a pre-amplifier to integrate music streaming into an existing music system that may not have music streaming capability.
